Get Out Guide: Attend a Silent Auction To Benefit Japan, See New Life Crisis Perform

Why Go:
All the proceeds for the silent art auction called “The Year of the Rabbit, the Year of Hope,” will go to the Japan Society’s Earthquake Relief Fund. Artists will speak about their work before the auction over wine and appetizers at a reception from 4 to 5 p.m.
Pricing:
Free to enter.

, Friday, 6 to 10 p.m.
Why Go:
The Tuckahoe PTO will give you a "Taste of Tuckahoe" with a networking event hosted by "Iron Chef" judge Karine Bakhoum. The event will have food, dancing, music, a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction.
Pricing:
$20 per person.

$10 to watch; $20 to join the cruise to Montauk.
