Gathering will be held at East Hampton Point, starting at 4 p.m.

Dashiel Marder, who went missing while spearfishing in Indonesia this past April, will be remembered at a memorial on Sunday.

His family owns Marders Garden Center and Nursery in Bridgehampton.

Silas Marder said the gathering will be a tribute to his brother. It will be held at East Hampton Point at 295 Three Mile from 4 to 7 p.m. The gathering is open to all friends and family.

Dashiel Marder, 30, a world-class spearfisherman, was in a remote area of Nihiwatu off the southwest coast of Solor in East Nusa Tenggara when he went missing April 17, according to his family.

He grew up in Springs and graduated from East Hampton High School.
