Snow & Tell: How's the First Snow Going?

With the first snowfall in East Hampton, share with us what you're seeing out there.

Snow has finally arrived and a winter weather advisory is in place until 6 p.m. So how's it going so far? Are you planning on staying in? Having trouble getting to work? Seen town and village snow plow trucks come through already? How are the roads? Tell us all that and more in the comments below. Hopefully the comment thread will help your neighbors out a bit. You can also add your snow photos by clicking "Upload Photo or Video." Be sure to tell us where you took the photo. Most of all remember to be safe out there!

Dogs are loving the snow! Gorgeous day for a walk but be prepared to get covered in snow! Our eyebrows were snow-covered and practically frozen when we returned :) There is a sheet of ice under all the snow on Springs streets so drive with caution . . . definitely in need of salt and sand. A perfect snow day indeed!

All roads are dangerous, the plows are out, but kinda hard to stay ahead while snow was still falling. A little premature to be blasting the Hwy Dept. Snowfall like this is always an inconvenience. Lighten up, you have to shovel yourself first anyway...the roads will be cleared...just have patience. It's a good day to snuggle up & force yourself to slow down and...enjoy, the weekend.
