UPDATE: Feb. 24: Give Blood, Network and Catch Some Live Music
Southampton Hospital is sponsoring a blood drive today, and Patch is sponsoring a networking night.
You could save a life today. Literally. There is a blood drive going on in Southampton Village and your gift is needed.
1. hosts a today between 7 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. It will take place in the teaching center on the third floor. Anyone between 17 and 76 who is in good health and weighs more than 110 pounds can donate. If you do not have a New York State Blood Donor card, bring ID. Walk-ins welcome, but appointments can be made by calling 631-726-8336. Anyone who donates will receive a $5 voucher for the hospital cafeteria.
2. Patch will sponsor a from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Driver's Seat restaurant in Southampton Village. Appetizers will be served. Cash bar. The price is $25 for nonmembers and $15 for members. Call 631-283-0402 for more information.
