Walk Leader: Lindsey Rohrbach, South Fork Natural History Museum (SoFo) Nature Educator
Have you ever really, really looked at a fern or thought about why you‘ve never seen a fern flower? Join Lindsey on this program to learn about the lifestyle, beauty, and diversity of ferns. We’ll do fern rubbings to learn the parts of the frond, and create our own colorful work of art using ferns we find on the trails. We’ll take a close look at the beautiful structure of the ferns through magnifying glasses and see what has captivated botanists as well as artists and photographers for generations.
*Reservations are required for all walks, workshops, and programs*
There is no charge for SoFo Members (unless otherwise stated); Non-members $7 per adult; $5 per child
Fees include admission to the museum on the day of the program
