Walk Leader: Eric Salzman, South Fork Natural History Museum (SoFo) Board of Directors   Co-sponsored: Eastern Long Island Audubon Society (ELIAS) and the South Fork Natural History Museum (SoFo)

On this joint walk with ELIAS, expert birder, composer, and author Eric Salzman will explore the avian life of the meadow behind the SoFo Museum and of the adjacent Greenbelt woodlands and wetlands. This early August walk may be your last opportunity, this year, to see some of our locally breeding birds before they begin their long migration south. The two-hour walk will be followed by a short introduction to the Eastern Long Island Audubon Society.  Light refreshments will be served.
