Chinese New Year Celebration

Since 2011 is the year of the rabbit in Chinese culture, CMEE mascot Henry the rabbit will host a hopping celebration. Mami Takeda, a Mandarin teacher at the Ross School, will give kids an origami workshop and how to make a symbolic "hong bao," which are red envelopes that are given to children in China to wish them a good new year. Chinese treats, tea, and music will also be included. Space can be reserved for the celebration.
