The 10th annual Southampton Polar Bear Plunge will take place at Coopers Beach on Saturday, on what is supposed to be, fittingly, a snowy, cold day.

The plunge, which starts at 10 a.m., raises money for the Human Resources of the Hamptons' food pantry, which feeds 350 local families.

Plungers have raise or give a minimum of $25.

Registration takes place at the Pavilion at Coopers Beach before 9:30 a.m.

In 2013, 411 plungers helped raise $77,000 to purchase food, emergency fuel and utilities, school supplies, medical transportation, home repairs, and more.

The goal this year is $100,000.

Are you taking the plunge?
