Did You Buy Your $600 Million Prize Powerball Tickets Yet?

Powerball jackpot reaches $600 million. What would you do with the money if you won?

More than a half of a billion dollars. That's the estimated jackpot in Saturday's Powerball lottery drawing.

It's hard to imagine so we'll put it into perspective for you. The distance between good ol' Earth and Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system, is over half a billion miles. To count up to a half a billion it would take about 25 years. The population of the United States is a paltry 315,800,000 and counting.

So that means if you won the current Powerball jackpot all by yourself, you could give every single man, woman and child in America one dollar and still have more than $280 million to yourself (not discounting the government's tax cut.)

On Wednesday, everyone clutched their tickets as the Powerball results were announced. Unbelievably to many, no one won. Not one single person. It's probably not that surprising since the odds of actually winning are 1 in 175,223,510, according to an infographic website that is tracking the numbers.

As an aside, the largest Powerball Jackpot cash payout to date was $384 million and was won on Nov. 28, 2012, in Arizona and Missouri. So this Saturday's jackpot is the big one for sure.

Have you bought your ticket yet? And let's just say you beat the odds and you win all or part of the $600 million prize. What would you do with the money?
