Cinco de Mayo: Give Blood, Celebrate, Meet the Candidates

"The Faces of Southampton" series continues.

The sun will rise at 5:43 a.m. and set at 7:50 p.m.

Thursday includes a special Cinco de Mayo performance, a chance to give blood and the opportunity for kids to play with other children while their parents get some respite.

1. The Spring will be held in the teaching center on the third floor from 7:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. If you are between 17 and 76 years old and weigh more than 110 pounds, you can donate. Donors must bring photo IDs and provide their Social Security numbers. Appointments are available, but walk-ins will be accepted first-come, first-serve . Call 631-726-8336. 2. For Cinco de Mayo, will perform "Afro-Cuban, old school Latin music" at 5:30 p.m. at   Refreshments from will be served. The event is free and open to all. Reservations are appreciated. Call 631-283-0774.

3. Kids 4 and older can build their own creations with at the in Bridgehampton at 3:30 p.m. Parents can hang out and relax while the kids play. Registration is required as only 16 kids can participate. Call 631-537-7229.
