Autism Foundation Raises Money with 'Wrap It Up'
Shoppers donate to Flying Point Foundation for Autism in exchange for gift wrapping.
Shoppers brought their unwrapped Christmas gifts to in Bridgehampton Saturday afternoon to be wrapped to benefit a local nonprofit, the Flying Point Foundation for Autism. "Panera is committed to community involvement and this is a very good cause," Panera manager Debbie Payne said. The event is in its second year at Panera and Payne said the bakery hopes to continue to host every year. The foundation, created by Kim Covell of Water Mill, is "dedicated to creating and supporting programs and services that enrich the lives of children with autism."
