April 29: Have a 'Taste of Tuckahoe,' Enter a Photo Contest

1. Have a "." The PTO will hold a networking event from 6 to 10 p.m. at hosted by Iron Chef America's judge Karine Bakhoum. Local restaurants, retail outlets and service providers will offer "A Taste of Tuckahoe" for the community at large. Robert's restaurant, Scotto's Italian Pork Store in Hampton Bays, and will be on hand. There will also be music and dancing, a Chinese auction, a 50/50 raffle, and a silent auction.

2. Julião Sarmento's exhibition "" features more than 40 paintings and works on paper. Organized by Director Terrie Sultan, the exhibition will focus on the artist’s longstanding engagement with the themes of language, writing, and a sense of place, according to the museum. This will be Sarmento's first solo exhibit in this country since 1999. Museum hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

3. Southampton Town's seventh annual for middle and high school students is now underway. The theme for this year's contest is "Our Town." The deadline for entries is May 20. Email tkolsin@southamptontownny.gov for more information.
