Adopt Killian, an Akita

The Southampton Animal Shelter has many loving pets available for adoption.

This week, the is looking to find a home for Killian, a 5-year-old Akita.

Donald Bambrick, the animal shelter supervisor, said Killian was brought in as a stray.

"She had been loose for weeks before we were able to find her and bring her to the shelter. While she was running loose, she injured her eye and it had to be removed but that doesn’t affect her at all," Bambrick said. "She’s an active but mellow girl and she’s good with other dogs and cats too."

If Killian is not the type of pet you are looking for, there are plenty of other animals that need love and care.

All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered, according to Bambrick.

Adoption fees range from $40 to $60 for a cat and from $60 to $125 for a dog.

To adopt Killian or any of the other animals available for adoption, call the shelter at 631-728-7387 or visit 102 Old Riverhead Rd in Hampton Bays.

What's the matter, Maud, didn't think anyone would call you out on your lunatic conspiracy theory?Read More Your entire thesis is steeped in teaparty bs and supported by links to youtube nuts and right wing organizations. You dispute global warming because you are a shill of corporat liars who use your ignorance to promote their agenda. Yours is at textbook case of science denial "There are a number of areas of science where the evidence has become so overwhelming that a scientific consensus forms. For example, the consensus on the link between smoking and cancer, that HIV causes AIDS or that humans are causing global warming. Where there is a scientific consensus, there are often movements that deny the scientific evidence. All of these denialist movements have been found to share 5 common characteristics, including cherry picking, conspiracy theories and fake experts."

What fools would want to go along with this scam? Guess they want to rule our lives just like the U.N. wants to do with our property rights, food, and fuel.
