Adopt Jesse, a Papillon

This week, the is looking to find a home for Jesse, a 6-year-old papillon.

Donald Bambrick, the animal shelter supervisor, said Jessie's owner was heartbroken when her landlord would not let her keep him.

"He loves people young and old and was in a home with other dogs and cats," said Bambrick.

If Jesse is not the type of pet you are looking for, there are plenty of other animals that need love and care.

All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered, according to Bambrick.

Adoption fees range from $40 to $60 for a cat and $60 to $125 for a dog.
