2 Accidents Snarl County Road 39 Eastbound Traffic Thursday
No serious injuries reported in either motor vehicle acciden.t
Traffic is just clearing up on County Road 39 eastbound in Southampton Thursday morning as two unrelated accidents are cleaned up.
The first was reported at 7:17 a.m. by P.C. Richard, according to Southampton Town police. Sgt. Howard Kalb said one minor injury was reported. Southampton Volunteer Ambulance was on scene. A Bartlett Tree Experts Truck was being towed from the scene. Police did not have further details immediately available.
The second accident was reported at 7:53 a.m. near Tuckahoe Road, Kalb said. Two vehicles involved in what appeared to be a minor fender bender were moved to the shoulder, though a wrecker took up the center turning lane.

An accident on County Road 39 in Southampton around 8am is causing major delays for Eastbound commuters.
Police cars and a large wrecker were spotted heading to the scene.
