1. Sag Harbor Cops: Robbers Tied Up Employee at Gunpoint

While the search continues for two people who held-up a Sag Harbor Village store on Nov. 19, police revealed that the robbers pulled out a handgun and tied the employee up before they ransacked the vintage consignment shop.

2. Police Investigate Sexual Incident in Locker Room Leading to Forfeited Football Game

Southampton High School’s varsity football team forfeited its last game of the season last week because of an incident in the locker room that is currently under police investigation. 

3. Hero Neighbors Helped Tame House Fire Sunday Night

When the Tagliaferro family saw that their neighbor's house was on fire in Sag Harbor on Sunday night, they sprang into action. Hugo Tagliaferro ran outside, grabbed his garden hose, dragging it toward the burning house and jumping the fence that separates the properties, and spraying water on it until firefighters arrived. 

4. High School Students Protest Outcome of Southampton-Tuckahoe Merger Vote

A few hundred Southampton High School students held a peaceful sit-in on Friday morning to protest the way the Southampton-Tuckahoe school district merger vote went down earlier this week. 

Sebastian Cuyjet, a sophomore who lives on the Shinnecock Reservation, which is within the Southampton School District, organized the protest after hearing from other student who were just as disappointed with the outcome as he was. 

5. Madonna's Dream Home Under Construction in Bridgehampton

Madonna is in the process of building a house in Bridgehampton, near the property she came under fire for recently.

According to The New York Post, Farrell Building Co. — a Bridgehampton builder — has already put down the foundation on the eight-bedroom abode on Mitchell's Lane.
