The Southampton Animal Shelter has many loving pets that are looking for homes for the New Year. The following are five special cats, who hope that someone will take them home in 2014.
1. Roberta has been at the shelter since 2010. She is 11-years-old and longs for a home again.
2. Betty is 6-years-old and very sweet. She has been at the shelter since April of 2012.
3. Fester has been at the shelter his entire life — 3 years. He doesn't know what a home is like.
4. Hampton is 14-years-old. Her owner died and she really wants a new home.
5. Nicole has been at the shelter for half of her 7 years of life. She used to live with a dog and another cat and longs to keep someone company in a home of her own.
All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered. Adoption fees typically range from $40 to $60 for a cat and from $60 to $125 for a dog.
