ARF Thrift Shop Debuts New PSA Video
The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons
(ARF, www.arfhamptons.org) announced today a new public service announcement video created for the ARF Thrift & Treasure Shop, 17 Montauk Highway, Sagaponack. The minute and a half video highlights the range of merchandise available at the shop as well as the direct benefit Thrift Shop sales have on the animals at the ARF Adoption Center in Wainscott.
The video was a creative effort of Thrift Shop Assistant Manager Phyllis Landi, who has a background in television production and Sandi Bachom, a film producer, documentary filmmaker, author, lecturer and social media maven. Bachom has created hundreds of award winning digital films and donated her time and services.
The ARF Thrift & Treasure Shop is a priority of the organization’s long term strategic planning as almost 20% of ARF’s annual operating budget comes from funds raised by the Thrift Shop. In 2011, the Thrift Shop, a charming Dutch colonial building was renovated and expanded allowing ARF to accept more donations and continue to successfully fund the organization’s animal Adoption Center.
