Tuckahoe School 8th Grade Graduation Ceremony

Tuckahoe held its graduation ceremony for the Class of 2013 this past Wednesday night, June 26th, 2013.  Keynote Address and Presentation of the 20th Annual Honorary Tuckahoe School Diploma was awarded to Tuckahoe’s Mr. William J. Hattrick.  Tuckahoe’s 2013 Graduation Awards were presented as follows:   Valedictorian was awarded to Marcelina Kropiwnicka and Salutatorian was awarded to Nicolas Westerhoff.  Tuckahoe School Citizenship Award was awarded to Rachel Grindle & Theodore Jennings; Cecelia Mensch, Living in Harmony Award to LuMei Abatangelo & Jaden Cajthaml; Tuckahoe Parent-Teacher Organization Award to Spencer Crough; Raymond H. Orts Memorial Award to Rachel Grindle; The Southrifty Drug Store Award to Estafania Bonilla; Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States Dunes Post 7009 Southampton Community Service Award to Isabel Martin; Dwayne Stuart Memorial Award to Charles Bedard; American Legion Awards to Vanessa Oliveira & Frederick Schneider; D.A.R. History Award to Paolo Caglioti & Marcelina Kropiwnicka; Leah M. Topping Memorial Award to Marcelina Kropiwnicka; John Spata Memorial Award to Michael Finalborgo; The Emerson D. Ridgway Memorial Award to Gianna Fiorello & Nicolas Westerhoff; The Spirit of Marc Nardin Memorial Award to Rachel Grindle; State of New York Office of the Attorney General Triple “C” Awards to Gianna Fiorello & Marcelina Kropiwnicka; the New York State Comptroller’s Achievement Award to Nicolas Westeroff; and the County Executive Public Service Award to Theodore Jennings.  The President’s Education Awards went to the following students who have achieved an overall academic average of 90 or above:  LuMei Abatangelo; Charles Bedard; Paolo Caglioti; Jaden Cajthaml; Spencer Crough; Ronel Fabian Elizondo; Michael Finalborgo; Gianna Fiorello; Rachel Grindle; Theodore Jennings; Marcelina Kropiwnicka; Isabel Martin; Vanessa Oliveira; Daniel Quezada; Milton Reinoso; and Nicolas Westerhoff.
