Photographer Lenny Stucker Wins Exhibition Prize

32nd Annual Juried Photography Exhibition

The Hand-Made Photograph

This exhibition was judged by Christopher James, inspiring writer, gifted Professor of Harvard University, and a passionate artist and photographer. His writing, his teaching and his artwork have opened our eyes to the creative possibilities of photography. Christopher James is an internationally known artist and photographer whose paintings and alternative process images have been exhibited in galleries and museums in the U.S. and abroad, including shows in the Museum of Modern Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art, George Eastman House, and Philadelphia Museum of Art. 

The winner of this Hand-Made Photograph is Lenny Stucker for his beautiful photographs "Painted Horse" and "The Civil War."  Lenny's photographs can also be seen on the cover of Hampton Classic Magazine, Smash NY and Equestrian Magazine as well as other national magazines. 

Lenny Stucker joined the NBC Television Network right out of college. After performing various functions, he was ultimately promoted to a TV network director and remained with NBC for 23 years. He directed a variety of network shows from entertainment to major sports broadcasts. Lenny Stucker holds 10 Emmys for his work in television. In 1987, Lenny Stucker formed his own international production company called TalentWorks, Inc, which went on to have many of the worlds' leading broadcasters as its clients. TalentWorks, Inc. created and produced television shows around the world and acquired broadcast rights for many of the major sports and entertainment broadcasts in the USA for its international clients. TalentWorks, Inc. started licensing products that were connected with the shows that were broadcasted and created and co-created shows here in the USA. In 1998, Lenny Stucker was asked to come and live in Europe to become Program Director of European TV. Lenny Stucker lived in Europe and helped to change television as Europeans knew it. Lenny Stucker serves as Vice Chairman of the Suffolk County Film Commission in New York. Lenny is a member in good standing of The Directors Guild of America.   

Presently, WVVH-Hamptons TV has given Lenny his own TV Show "Lenny's Look," which is broadcasted to 5 million households in the Tri-State NY area.  Each show highlights Lenny's photographs cut to music showcasing the celebrity parties and events in the Hamptons.  In addition, East Hampton Studio, which holds major film and TV productions, has commissioned Lenny as the in-house photographer. 

Lenny Stucker's experience being an international director, producer and photographer enables him to share his creativity which he has done his whole life. Lenny is also a master in digital imaging and retouching.

"I see everything in life as a photo and I try to capture that moment in time to share its beauty with others in case they missed it" says Photographer Lenny Stucker. "I have my own style of painting over a photo to paint life into it as I see the colors and beauty it offers."
