Southampton resident June Auslander Harrison died Feb. 25. at home surrounded by her family, following a battle with cancer.
Born May 4, 1939, she was 71.
"June was a loyal, fun loving friend with a keen sense of humor, strong opinions and a generous heart," according to her biography on 's website. "June was predeceased by her husbands Alfred (Tom) Turner Wells Jr. and Ridgely W. Harrison, Jr.
She is survived by her three stepsons along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren
A memorial service was held March 5 at in Southampton. A celebration is being planned for after Memorial Day.
