Christopher Ritter, an 8th Grader attending , captured a 3rd place win in the Early Advanced Division of Suffolk Piano Teacher Foundation's 2012 Annual Piano Competition. He performed Pastoral
No. 1 by A. Hovhaness.
The competition was held on March 17 & 18 at the Steinway Piano Gallery in Melville and involved 72 participating students divided into five ability divisions.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be receiving medals and prizes at a special Awards Ceremony between two Honors Recitals at Stony Brook University’s Staller Center.
All first place winners will also be performing their winning pieces at these events, in addition to other honored students:
