Abiding Presence Lutheran Church to Hold Sunrise Easter Service at Sunken Meadow Beach

Abiding Presence Lutheran Church located in Fort Salonga will hold an Easter Sunday sunrise service at 6:30am on Sunday, April 20th at Sunken Meadow Beach. Worshipers will meet on the boardwalk under the shelter just east of the main pavilion.

Reverend Robert Schoepflin, the Pastor of Abiding Presence Lutheran Church says,“Sunrise services are an Easter tradition far more significant than baskets filled with fake grass and plastic eggs. Parishioners attend an early service Sunday morning, reflecting the Bible's account of how the women of Galilee went to Jesus' tomb and found it empty."

Worshipers are asked to enter the beach area through toll booths and drive past Field 4 and over bridge to Field 1.  After parking in Field 1, walk through main field house (where park office is located) to boardwalk.  Turn right (east) on boardwalk and walk down to the overhang/shelter.
