Sag Harbor Voters Decide on $2.2 Million Library Budget Tuesday

— Don't forget, Sag Harbor voters: The board of the John Jermain Memorial Library is asking voters to approve an approximately $2.2 million budget, a 2.8 percent increase, though it will pierce the state-mandated 2 percent tax levy cap. Voting takes place at the temporary library headquarters on West Water Street from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

— National Voter Registration Day is Tuesday and, members of the League of Women Voters of the Hamptons are going to be on hand throughout the South Fork to get more residents ready to vote. Between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. they will be at the following locations: Kmart in the Bridgehampton Commons and Starbucks Coffee on Main Street in Bridgehampton, Schiavoni’s Market on Main Street in Sag Harbor, Waldbaum’s Supermarket on Jagger Lane and Rogers Memorial Library on Coopers Farm Road in Southampton.
