Remembering Ross Reisner on This Thursday

Good morning, Southampton.

— The equestrian community throughout Long Island was rocked yesterday about the news that longtime horse trainer Ross Reisner was shot and killed in his Setauket home on Tuesday night. Reisner was a fixture at horse shows, including The Hampton Classic Horse Show in Bridgehampton. I knew his face and remember him from around the showgrounds. My condolences to his family and his friends, which includes business partner and trainer Bobby Ginsberg, a Southampton resident. If you knew Reisner, please leave your thoughts below.
