Linda Kabot Takes Another Line; Pyrrhus Concer's House Subject of Hearing Wednesday

— Former Southampton Town Supervisor Linda Kabot has won her battle for the Conservative Line, ousting the Conservative party's nominee for Southampton supervisor Phil Keith. Proving every vote counts, she won by a single ballot.
— Mark your calendar for Sunday. A fundraiser for Andrew J. Faggins Jr., a 33-year-old father of three who lost his leg after an accident this summer, will be held at 230 Elm from 3 to 6 p.m.
— There will likely be a vote at the end of October to see if taxpayers want to merge the Tuckahoe and Southampton School Districts to save about $8.9 million tax dollars. Where do you stand on the issue?
— The owners of Pyrrhus Concer's house on Pond Lane in Southampton want to tear it down. A hearing will be held on Wednesday at 7 p.m. We'll bring you more information on this later. Concer is an important part of Southampton's history.
