Another Beautiful Day in Southampton Thursday; 2 CR39 Accidents

Look forward to an entertainment filled weekend.

We hope this morning note finds you well.  Here's what's happening Thursday around Southampton.

— Sunny skies with a high near 77 are expected this morning, with clear skies at night and a low around 55.

How was that commute? There were not one, but two accidents on County Road 39 during a.m. rush hour Thursday.

Trata in Water Mill has an all night Happy Hour Thursdays, with half-price drinks and a half-price bar menu.

— Look forward to the final performances of the Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival through Sunday.

— Still not sure what you are doing Friday after work? Check out Fridays at Five at Hampton Library, with author James Salter.

— Consider swinging by the Hayground Farmers Market in Bridgehampton on Friday to check out the new Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic mobile education and testing van, which is making its first trip to the Hamptons.

 — The Shinnecock Nation Cultural Center and Museum was vandalized, but the staff are hoping to turn around this negative and create a positive. Find out more here.
