Presumed Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will reportedly visit the South Fork on July 8 for at least three fundraisers.
Politico reports that David Koch, the executive vice president of Koch Industries and an Obama critic, is hosting one of the events. He owns an oceanfront estate on Southampton Village's Meadow Lane.
According to Forbes, Koch is New York City's richest resident and co-owner of the second-largest privately held company in the U.S.
Another billionaire, Ronald Perelman, the CEO of MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings Inc., will host the second fundraiser, according to Politico. He owns a 57-acre East Hampton estate known as The Creeks.
The third Romney booster to host a Hamptons fundraiser is Cliff Sobel, an ambassador to Brazil under George W. Bush, Politico reports. He also owns a Meadow Lane home.
Last Labor Day weekend, Mitt and Ann Romney attended on Further Lane and he was scheduled to attend a fundraiser at the Southampton home of hedge fund manager John Paulson and wife Jenny.
