Police Report: Waitress Threatened with Ketchup Bottle
Man tells Bridgehampton Candy Kitchen waitress he is "going to destroy the place," according to an incident report.
A ketchup bottle was the weapon of choice for an angered Candy Kitchen customer during a dispute July 12, according to an incident report.
said a waitress at the Bridgehampton eatery spoke to a female customer about the noise her children were making. The woman then became agitated and left the eatery, followed by her dining companion, an adult man.
The man came back in, grabbed a ketchup bottle and threatened the waitress with it, the report states. He screamed that he was “going to destroy the place,” the waitress told police. He then left with the children but without paying his bill, according the report. Police are investigating the incident.
