Police: Camera Broadcast Live Feed of Burglary to Restaurant Owner
Bridgehampton restaurant owner told police he saw the burglary via security cam as it was happening.
The owner of in Bridgehampton, 56-year-old Pierre Weber, told this week that he was watching from his home computer as a burglar stole from his establishment.
According to the incident report, Weber said on Saturday at around 2:42 a.m. someone broke into his restaurant by jimmying the lock with a knife. The burglar made off with $665, he said.
The alarm went off during the break-in, and he was able to view the crime in progress via a security camera linked to computer, according to the report.
