Village shops battening down windows in preparation for high winds.
With Hurricane Irene crawling up the Atlantic coast on Saturday, Sag Harbor shopowners went to work to batten down the hatches.
The village was active early Saturday evening, with patrons filling Il Capuccino, Sen, The Corner Bar, and other eateries.
The National Hurricane Center issued a hurricane warning for Long Island and Long Island Sound Friday. The warning extends from Cape Fear, N.C. to Sagamore Beach, Mass.
