Bites Nearby: Hamptons Restaurant Week Kicks Off Sunday With Deals on Meals

The ninth annual Hamptons Restaurant Week, in which top-rated restaurants across the East End will offer diners a three-course price-fix meal for $19.95 or $24.95, kicks off Sunday.

Sponsored by WordHampton Public Relations, Hamptons Restaurant Week is aimed at getting people out to try new restaurants during the off season, with more than 50 restaurants participating this year.

“This is a great way to get out and try out restaurants because of the prices,” said Tara Berkoski, an account coordinator for WordHampton. “You
may also find a new favorite restaurant.”

Aside from creating Hamptons Restaurant Week, WordHampton is also the organizer of Long Island Restaurant week, which takes place in November. More than 200 restaurants across Long Island participate in the event that restaurants say is a boon to business. The promotions, Berkoski said, “really helps the restaurants in the off-season.”

Aside from bringing in business in the winter months, Berkoski said Hamptons Restaurant Week helps restaurants get ready to open for the season.

“It gives their staff a chance to get readjusted,” she said.
