Bender in his own words:

I’m running for Southampton Town Board to bring balance, transparency and open government back to the people of Southampton. To provide quality services to our residents in a timely and efficient manner and support budgets that streamline and make government more efficient while eliminating debt.

As a community leader I found that our residents felt they were not being well served at the Town level. Through my involvement attending other Civic and CAC meetings that was also the consensus in communities throughout the town. I then made a commitment over a year ago to run for Town Board and to be job ready on day one, by being connected to all our communities and attending regularly Town Board meetings. I’ve kept that commitment and I have done the homework and I do know the issues and concerns of our taxpayers. As your full-time Councilman it will be my pleasure to serve.
