Eastbound Traffic Crawling on 27 Before Hampton Bays Exit
Montauk Highway traffic reportedly not much better.
Headed eastbound on Route 27/Sunrise Highway, the traffic is crawling between Quogue and Hampton Bays Friday morning.
Motorists trying to get off at the Flanders Road exit to Hampton Bays and Montauk Highway are also hitting heavy traffic and delays.
The cause of the backup is not evident, but once east of the Hampton Bays exit on 27, traffic reportedly picks up again.
