Cablevision to Eliminate Analog Service

Customers with "analog-only" TVs can receive free converter boxes to help with the transition.

Beginning in mid-August, Cablevision will exclusively provide digital television service in Southampton and entirely end their analog service.

Cablevision customers with an older analog TV set will need to obtain a converter box to get Cablevision reception.

Customers with a digital TV without a box will continue to receive the Broadcast Basic channels.
