PHOTOS: ARF Garden Tour Opens Exclusive Landscapes

A peek behind the hedges with the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons.

This year's featured five magnificent gardens in the village of Southampton. One of the longest running garden tours on Long Island featured an intimate garden in the heart of the village, along with a modernist landscape on the dunes, complete with sculptures. Also represented were walled gardens, reflecting pools, and grass gardens, all interpreted by some of the Hamptons' best garden designers. The gardens were chosen by event chairs Mark Fichlander and Barbara Slifka. The chosen gardens are "Redcraft," the Garden of Michael Rayne; "Sand Trap," the garden of Ruth & Ted Baum; "Four Fountains," the garden of Maria and Bruce Bockmann; the garden of Perri and Eric Ruttenburg; and the garden of Christy and Clifford Brechner.
