5 T.J. Maxx Employees Charged With Stealing

Police say workers between the ages of 21 and 23 took $1354.19 worth of merchandise over about 25 days.

Five employees of at the Bridgehampton Commons face petty larceny charges after loss prevention officers caught them taking store merchandise without paying, according to police.

said that between June 25 and July 20, the employees swiped $1354.19 worth of items.

The employees were arrested Monday at 10:12 p.m. at the store.

Kaleeme O. Campbell, 22, of East Hampton, Teneish T. Martin, 23, of Bridgehampton, Shanna M. Williams, 21, of Amagansett, Stacia S. Douglas, 21, of East Hampton, and Lasanya Porter, 22, of East Hampton, were each charged with petty larceny, a class A misdemeanor. Porter, Douglas and Martin were additionally charged with conspiracy in the sixth degree, a class B misdemeanor.

Police said that all defendants were transported to police headquarters in Hampton Bays and held overnight for their arraignments at .
